All rooms are equipped with Windows 7 presentation PC’s, wired internet access, data projector and audio system. MS Office 10 (including Powerpoint) is standardly provided, together with IE9 or higher, Chrome and other standard applications. USB-access is provided to copy your presentations to the system. It is not possible to install your own software. It is, however, possible to hook up your own laptop. In view of smooth transitions between sessions, you are advised to use your own laptop only if your presentation requires it. You are advised to set up your presentation well before the session. More details about uploading your presentations will be provided in August.
When preparing your presentation, please observe the following time schedules:
- 45 minute presentations: 30 minutes presenting, 10 minutes for questions, 5 minutes for room changes
- 30 minute presentations: 20 minutes presenting, 5 for questions, 5 minutes for room changes
- Symposia: 90 minutes in total, with no room changes between individual contributions. Times for questions, etc. to be determined by the chair.
Poster presentations are 30 minutes. You will be presenting your work to other delegates visiting your poster board. You should bring your poster to the conference. You can put it up in the morning of the day of your session. The format of the poster boards is A0 in portrait orientation.
